Each piece is made to last in tough commercial kitchens at a light-filled studio in Union City, New Jersey, overlooking the Hudson River. There, a team of ceramists produce each piece by hand, using over 16 steps, including pugging, slab rolling, smoothing, jiggering, trimming, glazing, glaze wiping, and firing.
