Pedal for the Planet Playdate

ROW DTLA and Playdate invite you to celebrate Earth Day and the spring season with an afternoon outside. Pedal for the Planet Playdate is an all-ages, earth-friendly event where kids are encouraged to bring their bikes and scooters and explore ROW DTLA on wheels, stopping along the way for hands-on activations, art, nature, and community.

A mix of complimentary and paid activations will be available at your leisure from 12pm – 4pm, including:

• Bike & scooter roam: Kids are invited to bring their bikes and scooters to cruise around ROW DTLA and visit all the stops on wheels. Helmets and parent supervision required.

• Natural dye station by Blue Hour Goods (@bluehourgoods): The first 200 guests will plant-dye a cotton bandana compliments of ROW DTLA! Additional guests can enjoy the activation for $10. While supplies last.

• Butterfly pop-up by Flutterby (@flutterbyranch): An interactive and immersive experience to observe the beauty of butterflies up close. Available from 12pm – 4pm.

• Live chalk mural: Watch a live chalk artist in action and contribute to a collaborative group mural along Market ROW.

• Souvenir of The Sunday in-store activations: A giant paper mache globe reveal by Katie Kimmel, limited edition stickers for t-shirt DIYs, and an Earth Day merch drop!

• Recycled nature crown making: A hands-on station using earth-friendly materials in celebration of the outdoors.

• Build your own binoculars: Little explorers can build and decorate their own binoculars to use on their biking adventure.
